WHAT IS OR WILL BE THE 'FRUIT' OF YOUR LIFE?
God the Father sacrificed His only Son, Jesus. The Christian man and woman, who by their Baptism, have signed up for sacrifice until it hurts, are suppose to die to themselves and to let go of worldly possessions.
WILL YOU SACRIFICE WITH THE FATHER? WHAT IS OR WILL BE YOUR SACRIFICE? NAME IT!
By our Baptism we are called to be Priest, Prophet & King. Christ, the priest, was an innocent victim who sacrificed. Christ, the King, was wounded in many ways. What is the wound in your heart and in your life, that must be healed? Christ, the prophet, proclaimed the 'truth' in all situations no matter how difficult.
WILL YOU USE YOUR WOUNDS TO HEAL OTHERS BY YOUR VOICE?
COULD YOU DO ALL YOUR DAILY ACTIVITIES WITH MORE LOVE, WITH DEEPER LOVE?
The innocent, Jesus was betrayed by Judas with a kiss, by Peter denying Him three times, and by Apostles deserting and abandoning Him.
WILL YOU OR HAVE YOU BETRAYED CHRIST WITH A KISS, THROUGH PRIDE, OR BY WALKING AWAY FROM HIM?
The abuse scandal ,the Church in crisis: some people have chosen to leave and say 'No Lord, I don't love you more than _______." The temptation will come to abandon and desert the Church or to go elsewhere. This is the time to cling to our faith, to proclaim the truth Jesus Christ, to fight -- prayer, fasting, mortification, and publicly proclaim the Church. Your 'cross' and your 'sacrifice' saying I cannot and will not run will be most uncomfortable for each of us.
HAVE YOU SAID OR WILL YOU SAY 'NO' TO JESUS, "NO, I DON'T LOVE YOU, I WON'T SACRIFICE, I WON'T CARRY OR GET ON THE CROSS!" WHAT IS THE SACRIFICE GOD IS ASKING OF YOU RIGHT NOW?
