PRIEST AND BEGGAR - The Heroic Life of Venerable Aloysius Schwartz

We wanted to share news about a biography PRIEST AND BEGGAR by Kevin Wells on the heroic life of Venerable Father Al Schwartz, the priest from Washington DC whose cause is up for Canonization, and who founded the Sisters of Mary, Brothers of Christ, and the Girls and Boys Towns, where Father Dan is now chaplain. This book is now available from Ignatius Press or through World Villages at the Priest and Beggar website! (links below)
We also encourage everyone to listen to the recent documentary produced by EWTN which gives great insight into Father Al's life and his sacrificial path towards sainthood! Hear beautiful testimonies from the Sisters of Mary themselves, and see rare footage of the Girls and Boys towns and the children they serve.

MASS INTENTIONS
Father Dan is now able to receive requests for Masses while serving with the Sisters of Mary. If you would like to request a Mass for a loved one, living or deceased, please click the link below. Father will celebrate each Mass with the Sisters and children - in the order received. (You will not be able to request a specific date.) We would like to ask that you limit your requests to 4 per family at this time. A free-will offering for each Mass is optional and voluntary. More information can be found at the link below!
