RUN, WALK, BIKE, HIKE or STROLL in YOUR OWN NEIGHBORHOOD!
HEARTS BURNING FOR CHRIST ALL OVER THE USA
April 29 - May 1, 2020

For the intentions of the priests and those who are suffering during this pandemic

The idea is that families, couples, or individuals will take time during the 3-day HEARTS THAT ARE BURNING WALK FOR THE POOR - to unite with the priests and those who are facing financial hardship or recent job loss as a result of the pandemic.

Sign-up to commit to any number of miles (your choice) which can be accomplished in your own neighborhood or a nearby hiking or biking trail, etc.  You choose the location, the date & time, and the distance!

If possible, we would like to encourage the most participation during the 3-day window of April 29 - May 1 which is when the priests will be walking, but we understand that some people might not be able to participate until that weekend (May 2 or 3).

You are free to run, walk, bike, hike or stroll - or any combination!  All we ask is that you keep the intentions of the poor in your heart during your journey.  We will provide a PDF file with short rosary meditations if you would like to recite a rosary - as well as general intentions that you can pray for and offer.  (Look for more info. in your email as we get closer to the date.)

You are not required to collect any pledges for your own participation in the walk.  However, we would encourage you to share the details with family and friends who are welcome to sign-up for their own neighborhood walk - or to submit petitions or monetary pledges for the HEARTS THAT ARE BURNING 3-day Walk for the Poor <HERE>.

Let's see how many different States we can represent and how many miles we can accumulate!

Any questions?  Contact admin@animachristiretreats.org

Register below!  We will also be keeping track of which States are represented (Anima Christi Retreats has a broad reach!) and also how many individuals are participating from each family.  Thank you!

Remember - you are free to set your own schedule for your walk, keeping in mind that the priests will be walking during the day on April 29, April 30 and May 1 - if you wish to spiritually unite with them during that time.  Our thought would be that anyone who can't participate during the week can hopefully offer their time on the weekend (May 2 or 3).

If you are walking/running (etc.) more than one day, please tally the total miles.  For example, if you (or your family) plan to walk 1 mile each day - April 29, April 30 and May 1 - please enter "3 miles" as the number of miles EACH person will walk  ...
